Personalized Service Options

Northridge Woodhaven Funeral Home is committed to memorializing each life with dignity and distinction. Please let us know how we may assist you to personalize the funeral of your loved one.

Catered Receptions
Food provides nourishment and comfort unlike anything else. Memories of holiday meals, birthday dinners and secret family recipes create a special bond between the people and the food we love.
Military Funeral Honors
Military Funeral Honors are available for all honorably discharged veterans. Discharge papers (DD-214) are required to be sent at least 48 hours prior to funeral service. All honorably discharged veterans are entitled to Taps and a flag folding team.

RELEASE CEREMONIES: The release of doves or balloons are symbolic of the spirit's journey to find eternal peace above. All provide a touching and visual way to conclude your loved one's funeral or memorial services.

PHOTO TRIBUTE VIDEOS: Combining beautiful music and your treasured photographs, we will create a personalized tribute video that will truly honor your loved one. This visual walk down memory lane is a touching and meaningful addition to any visitation, funeral or memorial service.  In the days, weeks and months after the loss, many find comfort in watching the keepsake DVD at home with family and friends.

BAGPIPE SOLO: The solemn sounds of the bagpipe transform a mournful event into an emotional and dignified experience.

RIDERLESS HORSE: A single, rider-less horse appears in the funeral procession following the casket. Most often seen in full military honors, boots are placed reverse in the stirrups to represent the fallen leader looking back on his troops for the last time.

CASSION (Horse & Carriage): The horse's rhythmic clip-clop creates a comforting soundtrack as it dutifully transports the casket during your loved one's ride to their final resting place. This distinguished tradition is often used to honor soldiers, police and firefighters killed in the line of duty, but it is an elegant addition to any funeral procession.
